Metl Helix Wireless Grapher
A straightforward 802.11 wireless network sniffer and grapher. Uses RFMON mode to detect access points, and then displays a rolling graph of signal strength for that access point. Supports HostAP and Orinoco based cards on Linux, using Python, GTK, Scapy and RTGraph.

Written in February 2006 after I mocked my internet provider (Helix Wireless) for using Netstumbler on Windows for site surveys. "But there's not one for linux that has nice graphs" they said. "Pshaw!" said I; "I could write one of those in a day!". So I did. It took me three days in the end, it being my first heavily multithreaded GTK application.

0.1 release version; works with Orinoco and HostAP based cards, all threading nastiness worked out, stable. Early shot, first functional graphing, cisco device name detection Early mockup, reading data from a pcap file Wireless device detection done, pretty usable Running live on laptop, different GTK theme, about box, channel hopping functional Basic functionality in place, graphing live data from remote drone sniffer
